This weekend, I'll be participating in a huge LAN known as Gamers for Giving, put on by Gamers Outreach. This organization earns money to provide "go karts," portable gaming rigs so that children in hospitals can hopefully forget about their troubles for a few hours and be kids again. All donations here go directly to that, so anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
I am trying to help out as much as I can in my community, and this is one of the biggest ideas I've had. I support the Gamers Outreach Foundation 100%. Here in my community, there's nothing like this. I wanna be the one who starts this movement for my community.
This campaign is a collaboration between Huron Rowing and MAPS (Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students), a student organization at EMU. Our goal is to raise money for Gamers Outreach, an organization that provides gaming consoles and software to hospitalized kids. We are hosting a game-o-thon at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center, where patrons can donate, pledge, and participate in the a game-a-thon. We hope through the shared passion for video games, we can spread joy and promote fun for kids in an environment where they need it the most.
